9. Do not hide vital objects, keys, passageways or clues in obscure locations that can only be found by painstaking searching. Hiding something one needs to find in order to progress in a game should be a matter of logical deduction, or a gaming challenge.
10. But! include one or two Easter Eggs that can only be found by painstaking searching. I need to feel like there are things in the game that are worth finding.

Make sure that you are sitting comfortably. It is best that, during speed reading, you sit upright on a chair or on an arm chair and not lying down.
After you are sitting down, look around the room to see anything else that might push you off balance. Are any light sources aimed directly at your eyes or at your reading material? If we are speaking ‘tired’ then it is worth saying that being refreshed and completely awake is very important, so if you are not fully awake then go outside for a walk first and get a coup or two of coffee.
